Mommy got a new car!

2007 Pontiac G6, affectionately known as G.G. (i.e. grumpy, grump). Katie named this car! I told her that it beeped at us and gave us messages everytime it was unhappy with us. It beeps to put your seatbelt on (it knows when there is 1 or 2 people to get seatbelts on), beeps when you turn off the daytime running lights, beeps with low fuel, door ajar, and trunk ajar! So, Katie decided it was a grumpy car....hence, G.G the G6! Welcome G.G. into the Deines family!

We like this car because it provides a cheaper car payment and MUCH better gas mileage then our 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe! Unfortunately, we parked "Ding-Ding" the Santa Fe at the airport and we are pretty sure it was "beat up" in the hail storm!! Poor Ding-Ding!

35 and 35

Today is week 35, with 35 days left till Baby Deines is Due! =) Baby is so active, my whole belly flips and flops! I am definitely starting to feel the weight of this growing baby. I feel it in my back and my feet!!

I was told today...."Haven't you had that baby yet?" I guess people are as excited about meeting baby as its Mommy and Daddy are! My students are asking about baby everyday....even they want to meet it. Now that they know that baby can hear them, they talk to the baby and tell it that they love it! VERY SWEET!

Daddy gave me beautiful flowers and a sweet card for Mother's day. I even got to have a Chocolate Extreme Blizzard. "Baby Wants Chocolate!" FOR SURE!!! =)

Baby Blog #1

Well....46 days till baby Deines! Baby is growing so fast, my belly is changing almost daily! I decided to start a blog to talk about baby and all the fun, exciting, and strange stuff that is going on.

Here is a funny for day 46! I woke up to a Charlie Horse this morning at 5am! I am yelling out in pain, but Derek does not wake up. I can't reach for my foot (to bend it backwards, people say that helps) because my arm is asleep! So I am hitting him with an arm with no feeling (oops, hope it wasn't too hard) and his response, you ask... He rolls over and puts his arm around me saying, "It's okaaaayyyyy". THAT'S ALL??? THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY??? LOL He was completely asleep, but still soo caring, right? That's okay....we still love Daddy!! My screaming definitely woke up baby because it was bouncing all around after the pain went away, sorry baby!
